Dr. Marten Brelen - Associate Professor, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences - THE CHINESE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG

Dr. Mårten Brelén is an Associate Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He holds a preclinical medical degree from Cambridge University, a clinical medical degree from Oxford University and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Louvain.

Dr. Brelén specializes in vitreo-retinal surgery and is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in the UK. He serves as the Head of Retina Service at CUHK Eye Centre. In addition to his clinical research, Dr Brelén also has research interests in digital healthcare, blockchain technology, medical instrumentation, and IoT devices.
